Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Medical Assistant, are permitted to assist with medications in the home setting and in Assisted Living Facilities. It is a huge responsibility, and there are specific laws to address these positions. This course will teach you how to apply basic principles for assisting clients who manage their own medications; observe clients self-medication properly; teach safe medication handling; watch for complications or problems.
